FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE & SCHOLARSHIPS

Diocesan Tuition Assistance
Families may apply for tuition assistance by completing a FACTS application online at online.factsmgt.com. While FACTS is a third-party company used for financial review, the funding comes from diocesan donors. Students in grades K-12 are eligible to apply and be considered. FACTS takes the place of the SmartAid application.
Apply for Diocesan Tuition Assistance at:

Apply by March 15, 2020 to be notified in April
Apply by June 1, 2020 to be notified in July
The FACTS application must be completed before applying for any aid from the Parish’s Adopt-a-Student, the Bishops’ Scholarship for Excellence, or the Thomas Moore Family Scholarship Fund.  The application must be completed by March 15, 2020 to be included for aid from the Diocese.
The Bishops’ Scholarship for Excellence is for students who are presently in the 6th or 7th grade and will be applicable to their 7th or 8th grade years respectively. The Thomas Moore Family Scholarship Fund is for students that are currently in the 1st through the 7th grades who will be entering the 2nd through the 8th grades. Deadlines for filing these scholarships is March 15, 2020 along with the FACTS application.

How Do I Apply?
1. Once your child has been accepted by the Academy of Saint Bartholomew, you will complete and send in the Scholarship Request Form, along with your proof of current address and your child’s birth certificate. Please send these forms to the Academy of Saint Bartholomew Office.
2. The Academy of Saint Bartholomew will then submit an EdChoice application for your child through the online secure application system, ONLY available to the school.
3. Check the
Federal Poverty Guidelines to determine if you meet the income requirements for your household size and you want your income verified to determine if you qualify for low-income status. Note: Families applying for an expansion scholarship MUST have their income verified; it is NOT optional.
4. Complete the
Income Verification Form, gather all supporting income documents, and mail to the address listed on the form by the listed deadline.

The Academy of St. Bartholomew is accepting applications for enrollment of students eligible for the Jon Peterson Scholarship.
The Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who are eligible to attend kindergarten through 12th grade and have an Individualized Education Program (IEP) from their district. The amount of each scholarship will be based on the primary disability condition identified on the student’s Evaluation Team Report (ETR) and will not exceed $27,000. Students must be enrolled in the scholarship program for the entire program year to receive the full scholarship amount.
